Hi! I’m Cecilia
I’m so happy you’ve found my blog. I hope that this will be a place where you can find encouragement and inspiration as you journey through Life.
Do you enjoy knitting? Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit, then pull up a chair and enjoy a cup of tea and sit for a while.
My husband and I live just outside of San Diego, CA and have been married for over 13 years. Together we have 2 elementary aged children. I homeschool my children. I am self-employed as a private music teacher and I occasionally play for several local churches.
You can usually find me knitting. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was about 8 years old. I put it down for a while and have returned to it nearly 30 years later! It’s great for relaxing and lowering my blood pressure… which makes it nearly frugal right? Well, I’m still working on that last part.

I hope we can grow and learn from each other. To keep in touch and read about my goings-on then please join my bi-monthly newsletter.
I wanted to create a place where women can find inspiration for hand knit gifts and other useful items. After all, you can only knit so many scarves right? Just kidding. You’ll probably find some scarf ideas too. Sometimes we can get in a rut and I wanted a place that will spark some ideas.
Another feature that you will find here are items that are more conducive to a hotter climate. Here in San Diego, we don’t experience severe winters that other parts of the globe do. But that doesn’t stop me from knitting. I don’t have much of a need for heavy afghans or wool sweaters. So you won’t see much of that around these parts. Instead look for smaller, lightweight garments and accessories and other random items.
